Limitless, starring rising actor sensation with blue eyes extraordinary Bradley Cooper, is a thoughtful happenstance-full, journey through the life moments of a man who’s brain power is unlocked by an illegal drug. Dizzying at times due to special effects, the film was really fun to watch. It almost felt like the movie was trying to unlock my brain power, so I may find my way out of the situations the characters were put in during the course of play. I really enjoyed this movie because it didn’t have the feel of some of the huge blockbusters we are seeing today. It felt like an independent film, especially the first 30 minutes of writing. And thank you Bob Deniro for making an unusual appearance as a supporting character.
PG 13 for brief sexual references, one “F” bomb, and some intense situations, this movie is a great weekender. If you want to enjoy some popcorn and absorb one of Hollywoods few unique films this year, Limitless deserves your ticket purchase.
